The social bookmarks assignment was interesting. I found alot of website that I will be able to use in my classroom. Also, I found helpful articles that make me think twice about some of the things I have thought concering students. One of the bookmarks discusses how, teachers prejudge students and the students are not given a chance. When a student enters our room, there should be a clean future. Alot of my bookmarks relate to kindergarten information for Reading and Math. Reading and Math are vital for kindergarten. Pinterest introduced me to the process for early childhood students as well as provided topics for students to write about.
When visiting wordle.net, I had a hard time with print screen. I had to use the touch screen feature to complete the task. The screen is in the picture. Diigo was interesting, however I prefer to use symbaloo. The organization for the bookmarks is much better on this site.

I had a hard time using wordle myself. It took a while and several phone calls to friends/family for help, but I finally got it working.
ReplyDeleteI have found that math and reading are very important in the early grades. Being able to have many resources at the click of a button helps so much when teaching young learners. I recently found a website that goes hand in hand with the reading series that we use. Through it, I will be able to have access to more resources.
